Getting started
How do I create an account?
Go to the Sign Up page and enter your name and email. We will send you a confirmation. Account creation is free and there is no credit card required to join.
Is Last Bite available in my area?
Last Bite is currently live in Trinidad and Tobago and is expanding across the Caribbean. Sign up with your email and we will notify you when we launch in your city.
Do I need to download an app?
Last Bite works through a web browser on mobile and desktop. A native app is in development. You can save the site to your home screen on iOS and Android for quick access.
Ordering and pickup
How do I place an order?
Browse the marketplace, find a listing that appeals to you, and tap Reserve. You will pay securely and receive an order confirmation with your pickup code and pickup window.
What is a pickup window?
A pickup window is the time range during which you can collect your order. It is set by the business, typically 30 to 90 minutes before they close. You can arrive any time within that window. The exact times are shown before you buy.
What do I do when I arrive to collect?
Go to the counter or pickup area and show your order code to a staff member. They will hand over your bag. It usually takes less than two minutes.
What if I cannot make it during the pickup window?
If you cannot collect within the pickup window, the order is forfeit and no refund is issued. If you know in advance you cannot make it, you can cancel for a full refund as long as the pickup window has not started and your purchase was within the last 30 minutes.
Can I choose what is in my bag?
No. The contents are determined by what the business has available at the end of the day. You will see the food category and any allergen information before you buy, but the specific items are a surprise.
Payments and refunds
How do I pay?
Payment is made through the app at the time of reservation. We accept major credit and debit cards. You do not need cash at pickup.
When am I charged?
You are charged immediately when you complete a reservation. The charge appears on your statement as Last Bite.
How do refunds work?
If a business cancels your order, you receive a full automatic refund within 3-5 business days. If you cancel within the 30-minute window after purchase (and before the pickup window starts), you receive a full refund. Refunds for quality issues are handled case-by-case by our support team.
For businesses
How do I list my business on Last Bite?
Fill in the application on the For Businesses page. We review applications within one business day. Once approved, you receive access to the business dashboard and can create your first listing.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There is no setup fee and no monthly subscription. Last Bite takes a small commission on each completed sale. If nothing sells, you pay nothing.
How long does it take to list a bag?
About two minutes. You set the food type, quantity, pickup window, and price. That is all that is required to go live.
Can I set my own price?
Yes, within guidelines. We recommend pricing your surplus at approximately one-third of its full retail value. This makes it attractive to customers while recovering meaningful revenue for you. We provide suggested pricing when you create a listing.
Account and privacy
How do I change my email or password?
Go to your account settings after logging in. You can update your email, password, and notification preferences there.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion from your account settings or by contacting our support team. We process deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
How does Last Bite use my data?
We use your data to operate the platform, process payments, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
